We didn’t have a real meeting this month as it was too cold to have it at the club house, so we adjourned to Smiths. It was too noisy, but we did decide to have a work day and acquire a door. Supposedly we don’t have enough money in the treasury, so some of us donated enough to get the door which is now installed. Several members showed up the Saturday for work and we wired the place with their help and donations. We also put the gable in the north end but still need to do the south end. Maybe next time. We still need some things:

Jack Hartline; Electrical boxes, outlets and switches(donated)
Bob Cameron; 100 Amp entrance box & wire(donated)
Jim House; 2-0 wire(donated)

With the help of a few club members and some good Saturdays, the work required will be done.
Other news:
Frank Artz is building a new Spitfire.
Gerald Chaney is renewing but may not be active.
Jay Hamilton joined at the last meeting.
Jack Hartline is the Pres again this year at the El Dorado Springs flying club.
James Hubbel is in China.
Walt Hulen is still in KC but will be back soon.
Ed Kruse is unobtainable.
Marshall Nicol is in bad health & doesn’t plan to rejoin. I hope he can come out & visit with us often.
Chuck plans to rejoin and I definitely want to continue flying with him.
Kerry Rhea is a member but doesn’t plan to be active for a while. Some of us took advantage of some real bargains when he sold out.
Ricci Roeder rejoined & said he will donate a refrigerator.
Wayne Quenoz is rejoining and has built a new plane to sell.
I haven’t heard from Gary Seelof
Shane Thorington joined and has been a big help.
Sam Tillery may provide us with cabinets in return for life time membership. What do you think?
Mike Burdette is unobtainable.
Darrel Hughes does not plan to rejoin.
Fred Kempton is not rejoining.
Bob Price is not rejoining, Ozark is closer.
We have 26 members. 5 have not paid this year.
Loyed Peterson and 2 previous Hawks members plan to join this year.
If you will send me your words a week &1/2 ahead, I will include them in the news letter.
